ABSTRACT
We describe a case of a patient with Parkinsonian syndrome and dementia who presented with complaints of nocturnal behaviors and daytime sleepiness. The patient’s sleep problem was suspected as probable rapid eye movement sleep behavioral disorder. However, polysomnography revealed obstructive sleep apnea, while the observed behaviors were defined as nocturnal visual hallucinations. The patient corresponded to the revised clinical criteria for probable dementia with Lewy bodies.
