Reforms and perspectives of the continuous professional development system of healthcare workers in Armenia

ABSTRACT
The paper describes the features of the healthcare labor market and the influence of various factors on it. The paper also discusses the role of international bodies that developing the standards for continuous professional development of medical specialists to ensure the quality of knowledge of the medical staff which is equipped to deliver quality health services. The authors present the reforms of the system of continuing medical education in recent decades in Armenia.
