ABSTRACT

The development of lymphatic system (LS) visualization methods that can be easy to use and understandable, with the ability for data analysis in real-time is one of the challenging tasks in modern medicine. In this article, we describe LS visualization with indocyanine green fluorescence imaging with near-infrared light. Characterization of the fluorescent method is described: sensitivity, resolution, specificity, penetration depth in tissues. This article shows the ability of real-time visualization of lymph vessels and nodes during the various types of facelift surgeries.
