Abstract

Hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (HyCoSy) and hysterosalpingo-foam sonography (HyFoSy) are modern, minimally invasive techniques used to assess the patency of the fallopian tubes, an essential aspect of evaluating female infertility. This systematic review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of these techniques, including their principles, procedural details, efficacy, safety, and comparison with traditional methods such as hysterosalpingography (HSG). The review synthesizes findings from recent studies, clinical trials, and meta-analyses to offer insights into the advantages, limitations, and clinical applications of HyCoSy and HyFoSy, with a particular focus on cost analysis and economic implications.
