Abstract
FER cycles offer several benefits, including a reduced risk of OHSS and the promotion of single embryo transfer, which helps lower IVF-associated multiple pregnancies. Improved cryopreservation techniques have made pregnancy outcomes from FER comparable to fresh embryo transfer, maximizing the cumulative live birth rate from a single IVF cycle. Awareness of FER protocols and potential complications is important for healthcare providers involved in fertility care.
Keywords. Frozen–thawed embryo, Frozen–thawed cycles, endometrium, IVF protocols, pregnancy success rate.
